Hydro excavation is the safest excavation method in the world. Using pressurized water and a powerful vacuum, our hydrovac trucks can cut through soil, clay, ice, and sand without causing damage to existing underground utilities.
Horizontal Directional Drilling
HDD is a trenchless method of installing underground utilities such as pipe, conduit, or cables. HDD makes it possible to install underground conduit seamlessly, without the damage to existing landscaping.
Our material slingers are the perfect solution for placing material quickly and efficiently. A single operator can unload up to 20 tons of material in a fraction of the time it takes using traditional methods. The conveyor belt reaches up to 60 feet from the truck, allowing hard to reach excavations to be filled without the use of wheelbarrows.
Coring and Reinstatement
A small circular opening (12-24”) is made in the surface of a roadway or sidewalk for the purpose of daylighting, servicing existing infrastructure, or soil testing. Utilizing specialized equipment hard surfaces can be cut and re-instated quickly and at a lower cost than traditional methods.
We’re Down to Earth
A family-owned company, Southview was founded in 2013 by Karen and Travis Marren who recognized the need for dependable hydrovac services to support underground utilities owners such as telecommunications providers, general contractors, and municipalities. In 2018, Southview launched a light civil division, adding horizontal directional drilling, coring and reinstatement, site restorations, and material slinging.
Through efficient and lean operations, Southview provides dependable, cost-effective solutions for underground construction.
